PBA 304 takes great pride in it’s members and this new effort highlights our highly trained officers in a positive light. If you’re one of the hundreds of thousands of commuters who use our system each day you may have seen some of our officers on patrol. Take a minute to stop by and say hello the next time you see them.
Earlier this fall, PBA Local 304 entered into an historic agreement with another PBA Local in New Jersey and solidified a permeant home that our Local has been seeking for some time. I’m proud to announce that PBA Local 304 and Bloomfield PBA Local 32 have come together and will share space in what will be one of the premiere union spaces in the area. The hall, which is located inside the Wassesting Avenue Station in Bloomfield, will be home for both Locals to share administrative space, hold union meetings and other social functions. After extensive renovations of the interior of the property were completed, Local 304 has moved in and begun making our mark on the hall. It’s been a pleasure to deal with the Executive Board from Local 32 and we look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with our Brothers and Sisters from Bloomfield PD.
As the world of social media continues to grow, PBA Local 304 has begun to engage the many followers, friends and supporters we have in a whole new way. As you’ve already seen if you’ve made it to this website, we’ve got a new look on the web. Well we haven’t stopped there. If you haven’t done so already, be sure to follow PBA Local 304 on Facebook. You can locate us at www.facebook.com/PBA304. If you’re one of the hundreds of thousands of commuters who travel on New Jersey Transit each day, you’re bound to see one of our officers throughout your trip. Take a minute while you’re on the bus or train and follow us on Twitter with the name of @PBA304 to get some of the latest information on the Local and special announcements. Finally, our Officers have been featured in several law enforcement publications but you can catch them in a more informal site on Instagram with the name NJTPBALOCAL304.
All three social media platforms and this website are updated routinely. You’ll get the latest happenings of Local 304 and up to date information that relates to you, our supporter. Take a minute to tell a friend about us. If you see one of our officers during your trip to work or out for a night on the town, stop by and say hello. To shy? Leave us a message on one of the many options you now have. We’d love to hear from you.
On behalf of the proud men and women of PBA Local 304, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the redesigned website that covers all things PBA Local 304! This site reflects our image and displays the many accomplishments that our Local has accumulated in our short history. The Local, which was created in 1983, is a proud and active member of the New Jersey State Policeman’s Benevolent Association. As the landscape of policing changes in the State of New Jersey and nationally, PBA Local 304 will continue to be on the forefront to ensure we protect the men and women who put their lives on the line each day to protect the hundreds of thousands of commuters who use the transportation system in New Jersey each day.
Thanks for stopping by!
